David Salmon and Manuel Vieillard have chosen three major works composed the turn of the 19th to the 20th century and which, each in their own way, are the result of total creative freedom. Three men in this programme: two on the programme – Claude Debussy and Igor Stravinsky – and one behind the scenes, Maurice Ravel. Three men who met, listened to and appreciated each other. It is then tempting to listen to this music as the circulation between the three of them of a truly unique and innovative energy.
