Mélaine Gaudin

Mélaine Gaudin is a French percussionist. After studying in Rennes, Strasbourg, Lausanne and Lyon, he now teaches percussion at Nantes Conservatory. As part of the Artist Diploma course at Lyon Higher National Conservatory of Music and Dance, he has developed a show entitled “Tohubohu”, depicting the trajectory of a character steeped in guilt in a world full of injunctions. The show premiered on 2 May 2024 at the Théâtre de la Renaissance (Lyon). Mélaine is also a percussionist in the musical “The Lion King”, currently at the Théâtre Mogador (Paris). He is a member and co-founder of the “Lyne” project: a Franco-Swiss quintet of percussion keyboards and electronics designed to create an immersive sound for the audience.
